Tickled Pink

That's right, I have an official theme for my wedding shower! "Tickled Pink" adequately describes my entire look at the shower and wedding. Now I just have to sit back and mark off the days in anticipation of these events. Perhaps the best part of having the wedding is being able to include people that I care deeply about and am glad to have in my life. The worst part is definitely the guest list.

We reserved a room that holds 180 people. All the walls are tall glass windows that open up to the patio and pool. (Trust me, I still have my concern about drinking around a pool at the wedding.) I figured that if the list stayed at about 210 we would be fine because the customary some odd percent would not show anyway. I have cut off my mother and my fiance from making new friends. Between the two of them I had to had 20 people to my list today. I guess it is a good and bad thing to know some many people who want to share in this day.

More good news, we have made deposits for every single aspect of the wedding. All this means is that we have a butt load of people to finish paying on or before the wedding day. I am praying that everyone will show up on time. . . actually I am praying that everyone will show up period.

Tonight was full of good food and musical entertainment. The restaurant tonight, Greenvile Avenue Bar and Grill, was beyond appetite pleasing. I would love to make that a regular eatery, but it is a little pricey. Three of my friends have a band called Sum of all Beers. They performed at a club in Dallas. Chris and I went for a little while, but the smoke became too much and we went home to relax.

I am still carless. I will not have my baby back until Monday, but Chris let me borrow his car till then. Great, that's all I need. . .Now I can panic about wrecking in his car.

We plan on seeing The Fantastic Four Saturday night so I will have another movie review soon.
